Your typical day – Our MDA analysts and engineers work in modern, well-appointed government facilities at Redstone Arsenal. Redstoneis located inHuntsville, Alabama, otherwise known as “Rocket City.” Huntsville is the hub of missile and space research and development. You will collaborate with other missile defense experts – military, government civilians, and contractors from Axient and other companies. Our team of experts helps the Government manage planning, development and delivery of state-of-the art sensors, weapons, communications, and command/control systems.
What you will do...
The Basic Analyst will support all Continuous Development Integration (CDI) activities on behalf of the THAAD Ground Test Directorate (THTG)
Support Requirements Development
Review and provide inputs to MDA Test Objective Memorandums (TOM), Operational Tasking Link (OPTASKLINK), and Event Communications Baseline (ECB)
Support MDA Ground Test Directorate (DTG) Executive and Integrated Test Team (IETT) Reviews
Develop inputs to MDA Ground Test Source material including event Scenario Matrices (SM) and Scenario Design Reviews (SDR) for the MDA Directorate for Test (DT)
SupportTest Readiness Reviews (TRR) and briefingsto the THAAD Weapon System Test (THT) Director
SupportMDA and THAAD Quality teams through the Certification Data Package (CDP) Process, confirming M&S HW/SW readiness for testing
Supportall phases of Ground Test Development from Element Standalone (ESA) to Test Case Integration (TCI) and Developmental/Operational Test Runs-for-Record (DT/OT RFR)
Interface with THAAD Warfighters (WF)regardingtheir roles, event scenarios, and TTP/PPR for MDA Ground Test events
Observe Laboratory M&S system performance, WF interaction, andsubmitdaily End-of Day (EOD) reports during MDA Ground Test events RFR
SupportTest Execution Report (TER)development to includeanomaly investigation and analysis along with formal System Test Observation (STO) status and reporting
Skills you will need...
*Required Skills and Experience: *
BA/BS degreein a related field or5 years relevant experience
Active, orabilityto obtain, DoD Secret security clearance
Be a self-starter, able to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Capable ofutilizingtools, techniques, and processes for analysis activities
Capable ofassistingin the planning, monitoring, acquisition, and implementation support for complex systems
Follow established procedures, and solve routine problems involving test planning, integration, execution, and analysis
Demonstrate the ability to work with diverse groups and focus their efforts to achieve a common goal
Display excellent interpersonal, written communication and presentation skills
Highly Desirable Skills and Experience:
Three years of direct experience with MDA organization andprocesses
Experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) organization and DoD testing
